Outside In: Surgery Day
at Barrington Farm

Submit your work! Come along to Barrington Farm on the 28th November 2011 between 10am–1pm and 2–5pm. The Outside In team can help you photograph and upload your artwork, write your artist statement and sign you up for your online gallery. You can bring up to 5 pieces of artwork. Places are limited. Please bring a helper with you if required.

Surgery Days are an opportunity to support artists to get their work online who may not have the skills or facilities to do so otherwise. The Outside In website allows artists to have a gallery where their work is shown to the public. This allows artists to have an online presence, creating ownership and access for the artist. We are also providing a sense of community for artists who may otherwise feel isolated and allowing artists to gain new skills.

Outside In 2012 is a National Open Art competition for people who find it difficult to access the art world, whether due to disability, health, social circumstance or art process. Outside In has no set creative criteria, boundary in art process or limit on subject for the artists that choose to align themselves with the project.

Mini Sports Day

Come and try new sports with professional sports leaders from ActiveNorfolk to celebrate the Open Weekend 2012. Supported by Norfolk County Council, this event aims to bring people together with the aim of having fun and being active! All abilities welcome. For more info call 01692 650633.
Barrington Farm Open Studios 2011 and Open Day 04.06.11
Thank you to everyone who came to the Barrington Farm Open Studios events this year, and to all the artists, staff, family, friends and supporters who made this event happen. We had a brilliant time with over 270 visitors and lots of sales! The Open Day was a great success raising over £370 for The Barrington Farm Trust for projects and activities for adults with learning difficulties in North Norfolk. Thanks again and we hope to see you next year!
