The Gym and Café
The Gym is a versatile space that is used daily for a variety of indoor activities and social events such as:
- Keep fit
- Table tennis
- Film screenings
- Bingo
- Special parties
- Discos
- Music sessions with a local guitarist
- Entertainment
This communal space is the main meeting point at the start of the day and becomes a dining room at lunchtime. The walls are decorated with artworks made in the art centre by service users, making it a very colorful and welcoming environment. The latest attraction is our state-of-the art, surround sound cinema installation. This incorporates a CD, DVD and Video player, and offers service users the facility to bring in their own Playstation or games consoles to play on large retractable screen.
Just next to the gym is a separate room with a pool table for break time games. This room also has individual lockers for personal items and a toilet.
The café is open at break times for people to enjoy a hot or cold drink and snack. The social area provides comfortable seating and is a great place to meet friends and catch up on all the news.

Food Hygiene
Our centre is regularly inspected and meets the high standards required. Thanks to our brilliant team and the help of clients who assist in the day to day running of the kitchen, Barrington Farm was awarded a Certificate of Food Hygiene Rating 5 stars by the North Norfolk District Council Environmental Health in September 2009.
