The Art Centre
The focal point of our daily activities is our fully equipped arts centre, fondly known as the “Art Barn”. This is where we specialise in enabling people of all abilities to express themselves and find a voice through their creativity. The artistic energy is portrayed vibrantly through out the centre inspiring clients and visitor alike.
This unique studio offers a wide range of media associated with the visual arts. The studio is staffed by practicing artists whose role is to facilitate and assist rather than to teach or instruct. Through this philosophy of non-intervention and by encouraging and nurturing individual talents the centre enables each artist to make their own creative decisions and explore their emotive responses to their chosen materials.

Over the years the Art Barn has gained a reputation as a centre of excellence and many of our artists have exhibited their work both at home and abroad. The RoaR Outsider Art Archive is part of Incatern Ltd and acts as an agency for the Barrington Farm Artists by organising exhibitions and events, creating safe storage for over 1000 original artworks and by promoting an understanding and appreciation of outsider art.
